Located on Amami Ōshima, Zerogravity Amami offers a full range of marine experiences —

Between January and March, the surrounding waters become a special meeting place for humpback whales.
Guests can join guided whale swimming and whale watching programs — an extraordinary opportunity to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Our facilities include on-site accommodation, a training pool, and fully equipped dive boats, all designed with universal accessibility.
Both guests with disabilities and able-bodied guests can enjoy the ocean together in comfort and safety.
Our instructors are certified by BSAC and HSA, ensuring that every activity meets international safety and inclusion standards.

CONCEPT
Zerogravity Amami supports a society where people with and without disabilities can live, play, and enjoy the sea safely together.
More than 25 years ago, our founder was diving off Hachijō Island when he felt the unforgettable sensation of floating freely underwater.
He thought, “I want people who use wheelchairs to experience this same feeling of weightlessness.”
Since then, he has devoted himself to creating an environment where anyone can safely and confidently enjoy marine activities.
That vision came to life in the spring of 2016 with the opening of our barrier-free facility in Seisui, Setouchi, Amami Ōshima.
Today, with the support of many people, both wheelchair users and able-bodied guests can fully experience the beauty and peace of Amami’s ocean.

Inclusive Marine Activity Center
Seisui Villa is a dedicated facility where guests with and without disabilities can safely enjoy marine activities together.
The property features comfortable on-site accommodation, private boats, and a swimming pool — all designed with a barrier-free layout to provide accessibility and peace of mind for every guest.
In addition to diving, a wide range of marine experiences is available, allowing you to choose activities that best match your interests and pace.

Shop Rules
There are no specific medical restrictions for diving participation; however, guests aged 60 or older are required to submit a medical certificate from a doctor.
Please inform us in advance of your diving license type and total number of logged dives. We also request that you send a photo or digital copy of your certification card prior to your visit.
Additionally, please confirm whether you require rental equipment in advance.

・8 to 14 days before arrival: 30% charge
・7 days before arrival or on the day (including no-shows): 100% charge
Marine Activities
・8 to 14 days before the activity date: 30% charge
・7 days before or on the day (including no-shows): 100% charge
Exceptions:
・No cancellation fees will be charged if the activity cannot take place due to poor sea conditions, typhoons, bad weather, or flight/ship cancellations.
・If you are changing your reservation rather than canceling, no cancellation fee will apply.
However, please note that we may not be able to accommodate all changes, such as additional participants, depending on availability.

From Amami Airport, it takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes by rental car or about 2 and a half hours by bus.
Pick-up service is available for guests with disabilities.
For guests requiring assistance, our staff can meet you directly at Amami Airport.
Our wheelchair-accessible vehicle ensures easy boarding and a smooth, comfortable transfer to the facility.
