Diving Shop Kuro-chan is an independent diving shop based in Higashi-Osaka, Osaka, Japan.
Our philosophy is simple: “Do things properly.” Safety always comes first, while we also believe that diving should be fun and enjoyable.
We provide careful, personalized support based on each diver’s experience, skills, and goals. We offer diving tours, certification courses, and guided dives for certified divers.
We also provide equipment rental, equipment advice, and sales.
We dive in various areas around Kansai, including Wakayama (Kushimoto and Shirahama), Mie (Owase, Kajika, Hōzaura and the Ise area), Hyogo (Takeno), and Fukui (Echizen, especially during summer).
We also organize dive trips to other destinations throughout Japan.
We welcome both beginners and experienced divers.
Basic English support is available. We don't just take you diving. We want you to become a safer, more confident and better diver while enjoying the underwater world of Japan.

Shop Rules
Please read the following information before booking.
• Safety is our highest priority. Dive plans and locations may change or be cancelled depending on weather, sea conditions, and other safety considerations.
• Certified divers must provide a valid certification card (C-card) and, when requested, a logbook or information about recent diving experience.
• Please inform us in advance about any medical conditions, injuries, medication, or concerns that may affect your ability to dive.
• Please do not consume alcohol before diving. We may refuse participation if we determine that a diver is not fit or safe to dive.
• Please arrive on time. Delays may affect the schedule of the entire group.
• Please follow the instructions of the instructor or guide during the dive.
• Respect marine life and the underwater environment. Do not touch, chase, feed, or collect marine animals or coral. • Equipment rental is available. Please let us know your required sizes and equipment needs when booking.
• Cancellation policies may vary depending on the tour, destination, transportation, and accommodation arrangements. Please confirm the cancellation conditions when booking.
• Basic English support is available, but we cannot guarantee fluent English communication. If you have any questions or special requests, please contact us before booking.

- 1 person: from ¥28,000
- 2 or more people: from ¥22,000 per person
Guided Diving for Certified Divers
- 1 person: 2 boat dives from ¥34,000
- 2 or more people: 2 boat dives from ¥28,000 per person
Prices may vary depending on the dive site, season, transportation, and facilities used.
Equipment rental and other additional services may be available for an extra fee. The final price and inclusions will be clearly explained before booking.

Free parking is available in front of the shop. Nearby coin-operated parking is also available.
Getting to the shop is easy, and pickup and drop-off from nearby train stations or hotels may be available depending on the location and schedule.
If you are visiting Osaka from outside the area, we can also arrange a hotel in Higashi-Osaka for an additional fee.
Whether you are staying nearby or traveling from another part of Osaka, please let us know where you are staying.
We will do our best to arrange a convenient meeting point or transportation for you.
